In 2017 a-n awarded AltMFA an Artist-Led Group Bursary helping us to think and navigate our way through these uncertain political, cultural, social and environmental times – allowing us to expand our learning, get more people involved and collectively embark on research and practice themed around The Future.
We were able to invite artists, theorists and thinkers to share their learning with us and members of the public, and AltMFA members took the opportunity to creatively respond to the talks and workshops in the series. The Zines (Edited by AltMFA member Eldi Dundee) are the culmination of that project, launched at Guest Projects on 8 March 2018. The full unabridged edition is available to view or print on demand via Issuu.
A more compact and abridged A5 version was printed for distribution at Guest Projects on the 8th as a gift to the sponsors, speakers and contributors. There is also a collectively Collaged Edition.
